I met some Spanish (they are referred to as Spanish yes?) Basque when I was there in 08, very nice people, make some great cider!

Basques are so liberal more than 50% of them vote for conservative parties.

I live 5km next to basque country and know what im talking about. Quite a lot of my friends are basque and they dont want to be "liberated" since no opression is made.

And yeah, most basque people votes PNV wich is a ultraconservative politic group. Now tendences are changing and they are starting to vote more PSOE and PP but, as you all know, politics scene in Spain is a JOKE, so it doesnt make difference.

Saying that Catalonia and the Basque Country are more favoured than Madrid is just plain stupid and people like you thinking that is good enough reason to have a federal country so everybody can shut the fuck up about being favoured, because the regions being screwed are not Catalonia, not the Basque Country and especially not Madrid.

Im just saying that anybody cant whine bout they ve been minusvalorated. They are very well considered in Spain, rather than other parts of the country, like Andalucia or Galicia, where the money is really needed.

Btw Generalitat and Lendakaritza have a lot of rights and a the ability to decide what they want to do in their departments in many many many ways.

In fact, a lot more rights and abilities than any other department in any other European Country and anyother in Spain.
