Well there are roughly 52 zotac cups per year and season consists of a year so I suppose the new season started on the 53# zotac cup.

that particular rail was not very ridiculous imo.
the only difficulty about it was that there was only a very small part of madix visible but it is obvious where he would be and he had plenty of time to line up the shot, just a bit lucky nothing more.

Hmm... To me it looked like pavel came out rushing to mega and shot madix instantly, I didn't even see madix's model, but it could've been stream lagging or something. I would like to see that replayed on demo.

What comes to general pavel railing, the guy hits sick rails constantly and I really feel the frustration of his opponents. Is he fairly new to the scene? Sorry at least I had never heard of him until a while ago. Seems pretty talented.

what i mean is that he was expecting madix to have spawned at rockets so he already knew where he was going to shot and just had to adjust his aim slightly.

when some unknown players like pavel are hitting some crazy rails, people usually says: "he is using cheats!", but when cooller, avek or some other superstar is doing this, people are usually spraying cum everywhere. i'm not defending pavel but...

nothing wrong with that. miracles dont happen in quake - the learning curve is next to nil in this game, people dont get better all of the sudden and most of us can tell placings of lan events before. in a game where strenx has "improved has game alot" because he now places 3rd/4th instead of 5th/6th and top10 players stermy/k1llsen make people say stuff about a new era of aim quake because they placed top5 once!...

well lets just say there are no darkhorses in this game than can pull of unexpected wins. i can see why a good performance may raise an eyebrow - not saying that its justified in pavels case tho. im sure hes good and does nolife enough to pull something off

He had 30 today and I had 45. Last zotac when I barely won he had 100 ping and I had 28. He hit insane rails from all angles that time which almost made me lose despite having full control all the time.

fazz and baker who both played him today experienced odd stuff and both told me that they also felt that he does some fishy stuff.

I dunno... I guess we have to wait for him to send in some screenshots or something :P hrhr

Sadly I have to defend Strenx today and confirm that numericable had really terrible issues sunday (it often does in fact).
It's not true fiber optic, it's FTTLA, which is one the reasons why it's so unreliable.

Why didnt agent play vs strenx?

Not saying pavel cheats, but he acts oddly and is an unpleasant player to play against, much like agent is.

He does hit weird shots a lot and it doesn't change from 40 ms to 90. But I don't wanna get involved into these convo's anymore again.

I had a pretty close fight on equal pings (by equal, i mean he had less than he is used to and i had much more than i'm used to) and the game was the closest i've played in a while, and i'm not exactly cypher's level... So if he cheats, he isn't still all that.

He's just another good player, and that's good for everyone and quakelive.

But I still don't like the guy. I knew ice cubes more friendly than he is in my fridge.
