Map pick: Flip a coin (cv random 2h/t). Winner chooses, who picks a map first. Then the second player picks a map. After that two maps are played. If score is 1:1, then flip a coin again. Winner drops a map first, then the other one do the same until one map left.
Server pick: The server with more or less equal ping should be chosen to play. The only exception is for players living far away (NA, Siberia, etc...) or having problems with connection. These players should play on one of EU servers, if their opponent won’t agree with their server.
Nick: Your nick on sign-up list has to be the same as your Discord nick. No fakenicks allowed!
Communication: Every player, who is signed in the cup has to check-in via Challonge to participate! All the players have to be online at #cpmduelcup20 channel on Discord. Winner of each match has to upload final screenshots in the #cpmduelcup20 channel right after the match is over.

To register, players are expected to join the #cpmduel League Discord Server and notify the admins of their intentions. Registration closes on November 11, 2017, and we will not be making any exceptions. We anticipate the end date of the regular season as league as December 10, 2017, and for the playoffs to be completed by December 17, 2017.

We have decided to go with a fairly standard map pool which consists of: cpm1a, cpm3a, cpm15, cpm22, cpm24, pukkat2, fjo3tourney6 (wr 5). The reason for these maps was to respect the legacy of #cpmduel, whilst introducing players to (what we hope) a new standard map with Fjogg's latest offering.

• Game Schedule: Players must schedule date and time of their game. Once players have agreed to a date, and time, they must message their division admin (or if he is not available to any admin) of this information. All games have to be played before round deadline. If both sides (and admin) agree, a game can be delayed (rescheduled). Deadline for one round is one week.
• Regular season points:For the regular season games, games are best of two, and we will use the following point system:
- 2-0 : 3 points awarded to the winning player.
- 1-1 : 2 points awarded to each player.
- 0-2 : 1 point awarded to the losing player.
- FF : 3 points awarded to the winning player, and 0 points awarded to FF player.
• Map Selection: The players call heads or tails and use /callvote random 2. The players call heads or tails and use /callvote random 2. In the regular season we will use drop (1), drop (2), pick (1), pick (2). In playoffs, an additional drop (1), drop (2) is required.
• Server Selection: Any CPMA 1.48 server with standard settings could be used. The ping difference between players should not be higher than 30. If players can't agree on suitable server, it is picked by an admin. Once a player gets ready in-game he accepts the server and its settings as they are.
• Game Start: Player must play their matching within ten (10) minutes of games being assigned.
• Match Reporting: After the matches are complete both players are required to submit their results to an admin. Any discrepancies in reported scores will be investigated by admins.
• Matches: Players must take demos of all their games. Players can use cg_autoaction 7. Players must be able to provide demos of their games upon request.
• Cheating: Cheating will not be tolerated, and any players caught or suspected of cheating will be immediately dropped from the tournament.
• Disputes: Admins have to ability to #shrekt you if they want.

Hoonymode is a novel form of 1v1 play, loosely based on tennis rules.
All in-game behaviour (weapons, physics, items, etc) remains the same
as standard DM: the change is in how the game progresses from one frag
to the next.

During warmup, two spawnpoints are chosen by the players. One will
typically be a "stronger" spawn and the other "weaker". When the game
begins, these are where the players will spawn, with the strong spawn
considered the equivalent of having the "serve".

Each player death (regardless of source, i.e. a suicide is considered
a kill for the opponent) is treated as a distinct point. After a point
is scored, play does not continue as in DM: instead, the players and
the arena are reset, and a new point is contested for. Players switch
spawnpoints at this time, so the player who had the weak spawn for the
previous point now has the strong one, effecting a change of serve.
Players are given a few seconds between points to reconsider strategies
etc.

Games are played to a point limit, with the clock not being a factor.
A player must reach that limit and be at least two points clear of
his opponent to win, i.e. in a 5-point game, 5-4 is a lead not a win:
the player still needs another point to clinch it.

Implementation Specifics:

Players claim a spawnpoint by moving near it and using the spawn
command (via console/bind/etc).

Referees can choose spawnpoints for players by using "spawn <pid>"
