I had been so busy at the end of October I missed out on watching this live, but having just watched the VODs, I wanted to at least make a post about this nice Quake Champions LAN (maybe the last big one before a while), for those who didn't know about it.

It features some big names from the QPL :

Zenaku,

Maxter,

Dramis,

Raisy,

Cnz, and

Cha1n. Tons of locals were also there to enjoy the rare occasion, including many old school players, such as

Akiles or

Sombr4.

CPMA 2v2 League 2022 (No comments)

The CPMA Community is hosting a CPMA 2v2 League. The tournament format is two stage tournament, with a round robin group stage and single elimination play-off with BO3 bracket, and BO5 Grand Finals.

Registration will be open from October 23, 18:00 CET till October 31, 18:00 CET, 2022. Games will commence on November 6. To register please join the CPMA Discord Server and message

@neverGreen#3910 for a participant role.

The map pool is cpm16, cpm25, cpm29, thehotplace, leftbehind, cpm32_b1 and invertedpenguin.

#uscpmpickup Discord Server will be hosting it's second duel cup on Sunday, 16:00 CDT, 23 October 2022, featuring maps from Reflex Arena, remade for CPMA. The cup is open to all would be participants, and will be streamed on

twitch.

To register, please join the

#uscpmpickup Discord Server, and give yourself the CPM Duel Cup Participant role but clicking the register button in the announcements channel or by requesting the role from an administrator.

With this tournament we will be able to crown the Number Two on the server. This player will be able to challenge the Number One,

santile, in special event for the Number One position.

Cypher was initially also supposed to go, but the visa curse unfortunately hit him once more, despite all his efforts.

As for the format, Day 1 is group stage, and Day 2 is a double elimination bracket (matches are bo3 for the first few rounds, and bo5 for the later rounds, with the player coming from the lower bracket needing to win two best of 5 in the final).

The cup is open to all would be participants, and will feature a blend of maps, old, new, and reskinned. The event will be streamed on

twitch.

With this tournament we will be able to crown the Number One on the server, and this player will be the undisputed best player. Only the winner of future tournaments will be able to challenge the Number One in special face off, the winner of which will either maintain or gain the Number One position.
