well i had 2 before i got wasd. I really cant tell u that it's better but i can tell u one thing...it will take about a month of normal playing (about 5 hours a week) to get used to wasd :D

well I started playing with wasd. But my aim was awfull. I couldn't hold my hand still, so I moved my forward and Backward to my mousebuttons. By pressing the mousebuttons all the time (or most of the time) I give some downforce on my mouse so that is more stable. At least that is my theory :>

All configs are good if you are used to them. The things that you have to pay some attention is that you have enough keys around your fingers for weaponswitch/taunts/binds etc.

I got strafe in the middle of the keyboard (left Y, right I, jump U, duck J) From here i can reach alot of keys on my keyboard.

Yes, it's all about preferences, I played with invisible rail (setting width to 0, or colour to 0, something like that) at some point, was pretty cool, but then I came back to normal. That's the kind of stuff I tweak very often, with no impact on accuracy at all, just seem not to be able to stick to some defined setting :P

hehe that invisible rail is used by PELE all back since he started out. I tried it too for a while, but i got frustrated when i couldnt see the enemy rail either, so i switched back. to tell the truth: im on my config everyday, just to change/modify SOMETHING :) doesnt matter how much/less, but always something.

though i try to stick to my visual, which i've done now for two years. they are >Yodaz-inspirated.

I scripted it so that the invisible rail only happened when I shot, I'm thinking of trying it again... Don't have q3 atm though =p

well... no, slightly higher sens and in_mouse -1 instead of in_mouse 1. :P Guess you mean m_pitch 0.027? I've always been playing with a bit higher, but yes I think I got that from laker :)

well its just not Holys latest config. that zip-file of Holy contain another 4 zipfiles, with different settings, weird visual, and lots of scripts.
