Hi
I switched my g mx 518 skates for hyperglides i discovered i still had from years ago. but the inner ring is new and after thinking hyperglides height would cause them not to be an issue i have to say it creates quite a "slowing" effect", still goes faster than before but now uneven i guess? cant tell so far.
Anyways, would it be better off taking off the inner ring to have a depression? buying corepad and putting only the corepad inner ring (thatd be 10e for just the inner ring...) as they seem to be the only ones making g 518 skates?

Srictly speaking the inner ring is not needed, but if you play on slighly uneven surfaces, or soft cloth pads, the outer feet *could* sink into the surface so much, the sensor distance varies, which in turn might reduce the sensor precision. Though I highly doubt the inner ring does anything significant.
