I dont get the plasma trail thing, you activate it, she leaves the trail, and after some time it "explodes" and cause damages? Seems like a somewhat weak ability, good mostly for defensive and evade moves.

Looks like it explodes on contact with another player.

Slash can leave plasma trail behind her. The trail deals damage to any enemy, who stepped on the trail. When ability button is pressed for the second time – trail explodes, dealing damage to nearby enemies.

Wondering how much time the trail can grow. Its a somewhat complex ability, not explained enough imo.

Nope, because the trail looks fucking easy to avoid and bypass if you're not looking elsewhere.

I am afraid we are.
The thing is, less health will make it even more defensive gameplay, even when you see the trail you won't be able to chase through it (for example on ztn at upper 50HP-bubble or SG-corridors) and you won't be able to see the trail awaiting you on teleporter exits.

What a time to be alive.

Anyway, less health will just mean it won't get picked, probably. With Anarki, the smaller health is compensated with the great speed advantage you can get and you can kind of regenerate it; and still i doubt all that will get used in duel, because most duel matches are spent walking for half the time, running around is often detrimental, even more if you're squishy.

And that's anarki. The diarrea girl, sliding on her poopy buttocks, won't have the same speed advantage, and a very predictable and counterable ability that can't compensate your unhealthyness while exchanging rockets in close or while being railed like a duck.

Beside, since the dawn of times you just don't chase someone trough teleporters unless you like to eat rockets or plasma for free.

With crouchsliding she is actually able to go fast.
Also the ability ain't that counterable nor predictable, when for example on ztn:
a) she farthammers her escape from upper ya room >> sg >> upper rl room, then you eat damage all the way chasing through the 2 corridors
or
b) she places her assfog at the teleporter exit and lets it there for half a minute.

Don't forget that the assgas does continuous damage, with hitbeeps and damageplums all along your opponent's path it also will be used as wallhack, position sensor and push2explode mine.
Anyway, let us wait and see how broken the game will be on release. >:)

I agree with you totally about the discrepancies between looks and voices (specially Anarki). The voice actings themselves are not bad, and even the models are not bad just they don't fit.

Well, I'll just reserve and wait and see how the whole collection works as together. Maybe they are trying to sell the whole as a compound "feeling".

I think that the voice lines themselves are not very useful though... the reason to have "quirky quips" for all the charecters is to compensate for teammates that cant communicate; but all of their voice lines are useless! in CSGO they say things like "THROWING A GRENADE!!" which is useful but then in quake champions they say "WEEEW ITS LIKE FIREWORKS HAHAHHAAA"

I think the first advice regarding the soundbites should be making them appear more rarely so they work as a "treat" in a sense (assuming they get spammed as often during the game as in the trailers). Maybe once or twice in a game with random intervals or as random reply for some in game event. It would have completely different effect.

I suspect they released Anarki and Slash in this order on purpose because Anarki's bio talks about him meeting a girl, and Slash's bio talks about her meeting a boy. :D

On QC Twitter they wrote they will send a other wave of keys out, I think it's just a delay. Keep fingers crossed.

/EDIT even having a vaild key does not mean you can play the game... I tried today like 5 times and always after the queue goes down to 3-5 slots remaing, I get finally error "service currently not available". Worse start as usal for a beta I would say.
