joypad is limited in speed and/or accuracy, you did a good job in ql and in ow with pharah (maybe with other characters could work fine), in cs the accuracy required is too high at some levels

Tbh not bad at all, especially for a gamepad. I saw a lot worse movement/control/crosshair positioning precision in quake from a players with mouse+keyboard. Same for OW.

Wow! Your aim is pretty fast and accurate that you can literally beat people who use the typical mouse and keyboard combo! Kudos to you sir!

what you achieved there with a gamepad is actually VERY impressive

means that with the right configuration of your gamepad + skill, you can play at above average lvl against mouse + keyboard players

means that you can get really good even with a gamepad

BUT

imho it's impossible to be THE best or ONE of the best even if you master your gamepad at 100%

you'll beat 1800-2000elo players (at any gametype) but i think that you'll reach some limits that will make playing better IMPOSSIBLE

upload a video of you playing any gametype against/with 2100+elo players, and get best score/dmg and i'll believe anything is possible, otherwise i'll stick to my opinion that it's possible to be good even with a gamepad, but far from the best mouse+keyboard players ;)

Ofc, but he managed some really nice movement accuracy, control, aim with a gamepad. Check his quake video if you didn't. Impressive. :D

His aim was decent enough in QL and he was roughly around 1850ish elo back in 2014-2015.

Though he had serious issues keeping up in lg duels with how clunky gamepads are, you can't really get the same smooth tracking and will lose a lot of dps in the process.

Another thing i noticed was that you could bait him out at corners as the latency on triggers on both ps3/4 and xbox controllers are ridicilously high meaning he would fire to late in almost every instance.



With that said his aim was overall solid and would consistently hit rockets and rails that would make most mouse users blush.

gamepads are terrible but you can do some good stuff with them with enough time put in, and you show off some of that here. also check out gamesager he does some insane shit on a gamepad

He4rtless : I agree. I did beat once though a quake live player with 2000 elo i think. Maybe with the training spirit for tournaments you can do it. I remember doing it on shootmania live at games assembly in 2013. But it was an easy game. And 1v1 not very hard.
We will find out on quake champions ! I will go on lan,s-tournaments, with my pad, to play all the best. Thanks a lot man for your opinion.
