Laser sensor? Might as well have been a copperhead v2. Diamondback was always optical never laser. The copperhead was always laser and was a shit mouse for low and med-low sensitivities. The shape felt great though with that new coating they had back in 05.

Won't be buying. If it was optical it would be an instant buy for me.

Who knows. 12,000 cpi on the G303/502 are not really interpolated either.

Yes but it's a non issue. If it's still something to worry about, people would have recommended a certain cpi value on the 3366 mice.

I would reveal sensitive specs in regards to 3366, regardless of it i would stay under a 2x mulitplier as a rule of thumb.

I'm using 1000/1000 on my G103 anyway. Maybe some time i will try different cpi steps again. But from my memorys there isn't much difference. 2x, 2/ rule is always a good idea. You're right. Original G100s on 2000 cpi and 0,5 sensitivity in povohat driver performs quite well btw.

The original Boomslang 2000 cost me £70 and came in a TIN with nice foam insert which was all in a nice box with Sujoy, Xenon and Fatality on the front!

The tin is by far the best thing I ever got from Razer. Still have it, use it to keep smaller bits and pieces of computer hardware.

I used to HATE that mouse.

ex CS:S team mate sold it to me claiming it's the TITS so I naturally fell for it.

It sucked major ass and it was one of the first mice I threw into the god damn wall. Yes it was that bad. The grip was bonkers as well, felt like it was made for a dickhead platypus or something.

Can agree, mouse felt like shit to me too. And the side-button had some nail-knob on it which kind of tried to slice my finger like a bitch.

Never understood how this mouse was so hyped...I'd rather play with some old roccat mices or whatever instead of the Diamondback again.

Same here. Even worse than abyssus or salmosa, and im all time finger tipper with normal sized hands. I don't get how those stripes on the sides can feel comfortable for some people.

As for me it's first day buy, because if you want Diamondback not any other mouse can satisfy you as much as another Diamondback. Don't worried about PTE at all.

I still have my original one in red somewhere. Perfect time to put it on Ebay and sell it as the real thing. I actually didn't like the mouse that much now that I think about it. Changing to something cheaper like MS IE 3.0 was a game changer. That mouse is just too low profile and the long flat buttons weren't that comfortable for hold. My rubber buttons worn off too, now it has this awful tacky feel when you touch them.

On the upside the people who can afford it can probably afford the surgery to make their hand fit the mouse in a single way.

As for me Diamondback is about really flat \_/ shape, more fingertip grip than clawgrip. Don't know 30mm is good or bad before reviews and real comparison to original.
