As someone who thinks the WMO is the most important thing mankind has ever created, I have to say the G402 sensor is a pretty damn good alternative. The shape is not for everyone but I found it very similar to the G5/MX518/G400 shell to grip.

Epicgear zora was so very close to emulating the WMO. So very fucking close. The general shape is very similar (most similar mouse on the market except sides are slightly slanted and apex is further back). Separate M1/M2 buttons.

Problem is it weighs a fuckton (110g), is back heavy, switches are mushy (not much feedback and needs more force than other mice) and sensor kinda feels weird - some sort of delay? (testing - results pending).

If you have money to burn, try it.

I think the G303 "Daedelus Apex" or the FinalMouse SE are the best WMO alternatives. The G303 could probably have some inside stuff removed (LEDs etc.) to make it's weight similar to the FinalMouse and WMO at 75 grams or so.

The grip on those mice is so different too though! D:

Lots of ex-wmo users seem to be happy with the FK, like me. It's a shame it's not a tiny bit wider and around 5g lighter otherwise it would be perfect in my hand.

The ambi finalmouse looks to be the next potential WMO replacement I plan on trying

Nah, not much you can do with G302/303, weight is due to tanklike shelldesign.

Roccat KPM / Pure Optical 2015($50!!!) is much better than G303 or FinalMouse in terms build quality(and everything). Flat sides makes this mouse feel so ambidextrous and cool. Great for claw or fingertip grip.

Mionix Avior 7000 is another great mouse. Feels like "right" version of Razer Boomslang. Wide and flat.

"capable of scaling up to 12,000 DPI without sacrificing accuracy."

This doesn't even make sense. Another proof the author is talking out of his ass, but making sure to pick only top tier of the most famous and expensive brands, and to put the "amazon" link in good emphasis.

it is not seen, but 12000 dpi with no accuracy loss means that 3366 is very strong hardware wise. 12000 fps and no jitter at 12000 dpi means no smoothing and very low angle error. As a result 3366 can reproduce mouse movement with more accuracy than any other mouse. Ofc, author of "12000 dpi" maybe don't know such stuff, but definitely that "capable of scaling up to 12,000 DPI without sacrificing accuracy." makes sense.

more dpi means more accuracy, not counting angle snapping or other stuff. So it's like he said, "capable of being more accurate without being less accurate".

Of course, that many dpis are completely useless, but that's another thing.

I am still running a DA, I used the very first Mouse from razer the razer boomslang, which wasnt good quality ... but the DA model I have here (3.500 dpi) is holding itself ... for me this is the best mouse I ever used so far ... but I only got experience with several logitech models (Wingman, MX 300, MX 518, Pilot) and MS WMO ...dont know so much about the "quality" of the current razer models having read user reviews and having had rather bad experience with the boomslnag, but if it holds for anoteh 2 years, which does not seem unlikely, it is a pretty good buy ... the shape is just great for my hands

No the best mouse you've ever used is the MX300, your preference is just the DA3.5 ;)

maybe :-), the MX300 from a human point of view doesnt make a difference technically ... its more about the shape, everyone has the shape he prefers :-)

"Personally, I have faced the problem of too little mice from time to time. I, as the proprietor of big palms, am a great deal worried about such devices and, what's worse, using them. But at the same time I, due to my working field, often communicate with female gamers which are generally miniature creatures. And when I see her sitting with a huge mouse in her hands, it seems to me that she has trouble even moving it.

But small mice refer not only to females. There are also males with small palms by nature. So, firstly, the size of a mouse varies only according to some physical characteristics, and not gender. Secondly, choose a mouse with regard to your needs, and your capabilities will soar up."

Quality, would read again.
