What I was trying to say is that there are enough people, even in mainstream media, who know and talk about these things publicly and are not bonkers.

Oh, don't worry, I'm not ideolizing him, I think he was a terrible journalist. Or a good one, depending on which side you're on. I'm on the side of true deontological journalism so in my book he's a crook now, before and forever after (and beyond).

So I'm glad we agree, he's a terrible journalist indeed.

You can alway recognize true propagadna by these small missteps and false tones.
They are always hidden in a sea of truths and half-truths so they don't turn you off too much, but they are what they really want to make you believe.

I studied communication sciences and my bachelor was orientated toward press/journalism. I concluded my bachelor with an internship in a press office of a local newspaper (Dernière Heure). I realized this was not going to be my shit. I'm now in my last year of master degree where I know have a more corporation approach of communication (marketing, internal and external communication matters, web communication).

So right now I drifted off the path of journalism but I do have a journalist background which I find is really helpful in reviewing journalism today without beeing one myself. I don't want to sell my soul.

The problem with the word "conspiracy" is it became a pejorative word.

Reminds me of Tocqueville's famous quote: "I am not worried about universal suffrage, people will vote as they're told." Boy was he right.

If you don't believe the world is beeing run by the wealthy 1%, then you got it all wrong. The mass of people, which is mainly apolitical (and meant to be kept that way), will vote for the people they see most (tv ads, shows, newspapers). Those figures that run for the most powerful political spots in their own country will need money to run their campaign, and those campaigns are financed by the wealthy people. In other words, presidents and powerful people accross the occidental countries do not owe to the 99% who elect them, but to the 1% who finance them. It's basic logic and it's a great simple start to understand how the world works today.
