So, despite many people going "omg quake so ded geme" I think 2013 was a good year for quake, we got 2 big professional duel lans, one great tdm community lans, 2 stable european online leagues that gathered a stable viewership.
That being said, what are the matches that are worth remembering the most from 2013? I'll post some of my favourites to share, let's see if we can make a nice db of "very worth watching" stuff.
125 FPS June League - Quarter Final - Strenx vs Cypher
Strenx to cause the upset of the league while coming back from two maps down on a bo5
125 FPS JUNE LEAGUE - strenx vs k1llsen - grand final
Two aimbeasts in an ultimate bo7 showdown for a lot of money. Casting from the FACEIT studio is a nice plus
DHW2013 - Quake Live (SEMI FINAL) - Cypher vs Av3k
Two monsters known for their incredible fighting skills play an incredibly thight and fast game on lan. This match could be the highest display of techinical skill of 2013
QL EU Sunday Summer Cup #1 (SHOW MATCH: ins vs. dem0n)
Easily the funniest map series of the year, the highlight is of course the only Space Camp match ever featured in a competitive enviroment, but the final map on The Edge also provides great entertainment.

Also note that this is not just of duel, vods of any gamemode are welcome.
