Personal quantum computers?

Will quantum computing/processors ever be available for the PC at any point in the not too distant future?
What would be the advantage of having a quantum computer sitting on your desk?
Could this be applied to GPU's as well?
Just imagine what a multiple qubit quantum processor could render in video games and future graphics engines.

No.
Status. After all, you'd have one of the most expensive paperweights in the planet on your desk.
Sure.
A single bit computer wouldn't render much either.

Pretty much all calculations in computer graphics are with floating point numbers though.

It's like the first super computers that took up a warehouse and needed their own power station.
One day we'll have quantum.... everything!

So I asked God " Why did you give me such an incredibly small penis?"
You know what he said to me?
" Have you considered becoming a lesbian?"
