Read it this morning, 74, too soon.

Hope they deliver with the new Alien, in honor of his memory!

They'd do him a greater honor in leaving it the fuck alone.

The way I see it, Alien was a great film. Really well made, great themes, effects, plot.

We will always have Alien, but I love the xenomorph. So they can make Alien 19 or Terminator vs Aliens 12 and I will watch fucking all of them.

I consider Alien and Aliens as cannon. Everything after that, A3, A4, AVP, AVP2, Prometheus, is just cheesy fun sci fi with a big budget and a cool monster.

If I could, I'd buy the rights and make a Riddick vs Aliens movie, unleash it onto the world and wash the onslaught of rage down with a flaggon of fanboy tears.

Riddick vs. Alien.. As he was in Pitch Black, could be great.

In the last two decades, several people tried to ruin the awesome universe of Aliens further and further down the drain - eg. after the 3rd movie. They were quite successful hence they don't need your help in that.

Thats what I'm saying though, its not ruined, if you just take the good films and the weird films as seperate entities. Alien and Aliens, good classy sci fi flicks with great plots and good ideas.

Everything else, a gargling mess of sci fi special effectery, cringey quips, stupid ideas and enough cheese to satisfy an overweight dutch woman.

Alien and Aliens arent ruined, because they are still good. I dont watch Alien and think about the shit that happened in AVP2.

So we have those 2 great films AND we have a bunch of other films, created by a bunch of crackheads who got to use the xenomorph character. Same as Godzilla, or Freddie, or Jason. You have the good films with the monster you love, and the bad films.

Xenomorph is another timeless monster that we will be seeing movies of for the next thousand years, some will be shit, some will be good, some will be funny, but youre a fucking noodle if you go ahead and let Alien 39: Revenge of the Xenodogs ruin Alien 1 for you.

I just hate the fact that this tarnished franchise / universe getting shit on. It's unsightly and a disgrace.

How would you feel if the next

R I D D I C K

K

movie would be "Riddick X Teletubbies: Ravaging Bedtime of the Martian Infants", in which Riddick gets trashed by deranged crackwhores equipped with pizzles while mild synthpop music acts as an emotional background?

Well, youre not wrong, I'd be fucking disappointed when I'm off seeing it at the cinema. But I would still adore Riddick 1,2 and 3 as much as I always have.

The difference between our scenarios is that you already hate the last 5 or so alien related movies and you wouldnt be excited for the next one so you cant be disappointed. You just maintain your disdain

I adore all the Riddick movies and would be hyped for Riddick 4 and then would have my hopes and dreams shat on.

Also Riddick is the ongoing universe of David Twohy and Vin Diesel. The same guys telling a single story. But the Alien Universe is convoluted and basically a pick and mix for any director that wants a slice. Directors each take a crack at doing an Alien film which is why its easy to take them individually and to come up with your own version of whats canon and what you are going to ignore forever.

Creator of "alien design".
Why didn't He die in 90, or 120 years old?
I heard that He was injured, felt down from somewhere, or something like that. =| Another one mysterious death.
A big loss of World Culture, RIP.

Been looking for a print of that exact picture. I have a lot of Beksinski art in my house and I can never find afforable Giger prints to go with it.

You might like some of the art by this guy, its similar to Gigers stuff but sadly it looks quite digital. The themes and ideas are great though

To me it doesn't look very digital considering it's made in Zbrush. Looks really cool but a bit too derivative.

Beksinski, Giger, Zawadzki and Strzalkowski are all really good, but prints are usually hard to find or expensive.

If you know of any more please tell me. I have so much empty wallspace in my new house.

It's no good to talk bad about dead peoples, but his work have been badly overrated.
He didn't do much overall, and you can find same kind of perverted human-insects-machines fetishes countless times on sites like Deviantart.
Actually, you can find more original and creative weird stuff on deviantart, by totally unknown 20-something years old authors.
Plus he was kind of a psychopath and arrogant in his few interviews.

RIP anyway.

You don't know much about him, did not even mention the name LI Tobler

You better think first then write something ... Age: 25 (green behind the ears)

And he cannot articulate his views in eng because of swiss language

I saw a lot of intervies in German / swiss, he is kind, not arrogant and wtf you else mean ...
