Have you ever played twister? I have in the past 2-3 years and from my experience I can tell that he is a very positional player (like the way he engages fights and is hard to hit). Tbh his weaknesses are actually timing and aim (lg and constant rail). And if he doesn't hit he gets very predictable tho he might play completely different vs higher tier players. Anyway what I'm trying to say is that the guy has a very good understanding of the game. So yeah I'd value his opinion over yours kewler fanboy.

I have played and followed football my whole life and yet I don't consider classics as interesting :x. I've seen 90s football and still prefer the current football (I miss zidane tho (( best player ever). Same with the 70s. I don't have to appreciate it even tho they were the best back then. Why should I? Game was overall slower, less tactical and not as interesting as nowadays. Same applies to the demo above. And as I said if you don't have a personal connection to it it is quite hard to enjoy it. You probably saw and enjoyed it and seeing it now brings up a lot of memories for you even so there is no reason to get offensive when someone calls them boring.

Was very interesting to watch imo, especially through nostalgia goggles. Quake was big that days and you can feel excitement and thrill of players watching these games.

I got a shitty 14" in 1999 that was 120hz cabable. All tournaments(at that time that I attended) I was at had 120hz capable monitors aswell.

Maybe people didnt know how to find the info on how to overclock the monitors to 120hz. Cause it really was possible with the right tools(pstrip or other "driverhacks")

well u cant judge the level of play in this demo by today's standards. the game has had 13 years of evolution - changes in game speed, physics, hitboxes etc., changes in hardware, changes in experience and skill (more game time and more competition yield more skill)
