The whole TC system conspiracy is getting old, but I must agree it is suspicious.

RB9Hook.dll basically.

Vettel was the map compiler in FP3 for the protocl, militia is backed up to the FTP3 on my server, newest version 2.5 second advantage over other quake distros in millesecond input lag. I recombobulated the grand prix militia settings after taking prozac because they looked suspiciously fooled with: like the Men In Black were watching my Militia distributions, and surreptitiously inserting codes in them in between the time it took me to get my hot pocket from the microwave.

Eventually Sirius Reptiles inserted thoughts of competing Q4 mods, but I knew all the modders were just cheaters and I was the best mod.

DOWNLOAD MILITIA IT REALLY WORKS, IT'S FIXED WITH Patch 3.9 CB even though the CIA tried to alter it but failed due to perfect forward security on my FTP!

100ms on entry onto a kerb
200ms shuddering over the kerb
400ms to get back to original speed

is probably the average telemetry on the graph

dampers and tire pressures make it smooth as silk, and low the times going over the kerb that much more

All F1 should have the same cars, you could still have sponsorship/decals.

This. Would be a lot more interesting. Only driving skills matter. No teams trailing shittons of laps behind.

F1 is not only about the best driving skills. It is also about pushing technology forward to maximize the car performance within the given restrictions.

In F1 the massive differences happen mostly in the last circuits of the season because aero matters more on those. It's not the driver being 2.5 seconds faster a lap, it's the car.

Also F1 has always been about who exploits the rules the most, including doing illegal stuff knowing they won't get caught or the sanction will be minimal. For example last year what was being discussed is using the same thing what's on the article: pseudo traction control on the engine, not by software (with ECU provided by FIA and whatnot).

That means right now RB dominates in the two most important aspects of the competition, which certainly matter more than a specific driver. F1 is all cfg.

I'm not sure I understand what's going on here. is his advantage within the rules?

edit: tc is banned so if true then rb will be trouble. thought the cars had inspections. with a car so competitive it seems foolish to seek an unfair edge like this.

An update for all car enthusiasts and F1 fans of ESR: this year's RB traction control is based on KERS, which allegedly doesn't explicitly go against the rules.
http://jalopnik.com/red-bull-may-have-invente...1442585020

However, and not just to copypaste an article, I remembered that the actual words used in the regulations are quite restrictive (yep I read them about two years ago), having grounds to think RB is acting against them. So, here's the 2013 technical regulations published in 07.04.2013 (latest).
http://www.fia.com/sport/regulations?f[0]=field_regulation_category%3A82
9.3. Traction Control: "No car may be equipped with a system or device which is capable of preventing the driven wheels from spinning under power or of compensating for excessive torque demand by the driver.
Any device or system which notifies the driver of the onset of wheel spin is not permitted

Actually it is quite funny that the quoted rule has the word throttle with a strikethrough and adding the word torque, which is precisely what is being discussed (this is about torque, not throttle). Did FIA knew about RB way in advance than the rest?

Another aspect to mention is the device is only fitted in Vettel's cars, not Webber's.

In any case it is clearly cheating, as being able to open and to fully open the throttle considerably before the rest practically destroys the competition. Another thing is if it is 'illegal' or not, and another one is if there will be penalties.
