i wouldn't advise anyone to buy this game if he wants to play it online. the netcode is plagued with bugs (random slowdowns and crashes making it almost unplayable), region locked lobbies according to the country selected for Downloads in Steam options (wtf?), various issues with controllers/hardware specs (especially on older but capable hardware), game doesn't even have settings for fullscreen/window mode or aspect ratio etc.

i'd wait for a patch then consider it. the retail version is due to appear in 1 month and i doubt they'll release the game unpatched on physical media.. i hope they listen to user feedback and fix these issues before retail distribution starts.

I like it. But fighting games are not important for me a lot. For me it is just nostalgia. I don't really like console games. Mostly playing fps, rts, rpg games on PC. MK9 is good breaker.

Btw. online is good, but you need to play against player who is not lagging. ;]

Got two pads, xbox controlles - works perfects. But dpad is retarded. I have esperanza shhit pad for 6$, working very well after using motionjoy.com

For me it is quite good.

What is that motionjoy thingie?

It's program that will help with game pad if there is a problem. I have one game pad really crappy and was able to set it as xbox controller.

Getting this if its on a good sale during the steam summer sale.
