i always felt like QL had the basics sorted for a built in twitch stream, should massively help with community growth.

There are already a few QL streams. "Nobody" watches them. What would a built-in system change to that?

There are two types of integration:
1.- Streaming easily, on twitch.
2.- Advertising those streams.

The first type will never happen in QL, but the second one could very easily.

Someone that doesn't visit ESR can hardly know about quake streams. That stream side bar (right) is superb and other games feature stream on their client, as the main attraction right in the middle, even promoting individual streamers (lets say strenx).

If QL had the same basic stream integration as LoL then there would be more viewers. I'd add a stream side bar there too and a link to http://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Quake%20Live.

Lunch break work that still doesn't happen, like the embed irc client chat.

I reckon folks at microsoft are crapping their pants.

80 quid more expensive, hideous DRM which I now think they will back pedal on.

The release isnt until November so they have plenty of time to change things if they feel they need to.

But in terms of the actual games the xbox one actually has more exclusives. However the price difference is quite significant.

All I can say is that this will bring quality down, as I already felt, now that everybody and their mother are able to stream.

i did think this too, when you've got a million streams who's gonna watch?
