Yes, it is the 3060. Also, dpi is a preference, more so than actual advantage, in my opinion

and 3090 itself has better tracking on all DPI levels, doesnt have angle snapping aka correction, while 3060 does(and it's a huge 'im not gonna buy that' disadvantage for most ppl on ESR) and got higher maximum DPI so why would you use 3060

Pretty sure the customer's opinion on that one is important and your opinion means next to nothing even if you were right.

Angle snapping may not make you a better/worse player.. but its all about comfort. If it's something you can feel and is noticeable then obviously one may have a preference. If such a preference exists then surely that's something you need to market to.

I'm not an expert in marketing or anything, but producing something that is appealing to a large scale of customers might be something you should aim for.

Considering, I am in fact one of those people you're referring too, I took that into account when designing this. Hence the "for gamers by gamers" on the front page of the site.

If you don't want the sensor that came with the mouse, don't buy the mouse. Like you said, its preference, no one is forcing you to buy it. It is simply an option.

how is the lift-off distance? i couldn't use anything besides ie3, including deathadder 3g because it's too high and feels wrong.

how are the drivers? one of the main reasons I'd like to move on to some razor mouse is the signed driver allowing to change the polling rate.

yep, gives an inconsistent feeling, it would randomly start tracking while i'm carrying it over

Did you put the tape over the actual sensor or just over the LED light?

Theres three kinds of tape fix that I know of:
1- One where you cover the entire hole with semi-transparent tape (I think its less common)
2- And the most popular one where you cover up to the edge of the actual lens with opaque (non transparent) tape. So its like this if you hold the mouse sideways:
lens--> o||||| <--tape
3- Then a final one, which is like the above one, but instead of covering up to the lens, you fold a flap down over the vertical part of the clear plastic, where the LED shines through (I don't think this is very common either)

I always found no. 2 works best and is the easiest.

You'd be surprised how common number 1 is ;) But that's the problem.

Credits to thuNDa for making that thread. I think you were getting funny tracking because the sensor could still pick up the tape as a surface.

on the surface it seemed perfect, just when I lift it, it's like the angle mattered more. it just felt sticky and inconsistent :(
i actually figured mate tape was perfect for the sensor, because it primarily obscures the surface detail at any distance. but if the LOD is achieved with the light focus, that makes sense too. i'll try again leaving the lens open. but that hole is tiny.

i had to put two layers of mate scotch tape and black markered one of them for the desired effect, right on the light lense. seems like I can get used to it now!

Bst had weight in mind from the beginning. There were probably other considerations DKT had in this mouse that probably weren't weight. Besides, Rauvz would be happy :P

Aye sir too bad it ain't ambidextrous , cm spawning or tiny deathadderish , with room for extra weight and small , otherwise I would be all over it and that is why I'll probably still end up with bst's mouse and deal with the light weight I mean it's not like lightweight doesn't have it's advantages but I prefer the stability and control I get from the extra weight but you also get stability and control in other aspects with low weight especially when your sensitivity is 30cm/360+ where you want the least effort moving your mouse possible.

So basically heavy mouse = great for highish sensitivity and light mouse = great for low sensitivity.

Destrukt, please rebrand the everglide titan mousepad you have named of..Just, cannot find any better mousepad than that.

There're many people who was inspired by fatal1ty. He managed to live a life what many of us would like to live; I mean, earning good money with a hobby, travelling around the world and be somewhat successful in bussiness life too (motherboards, mice, mousepads, keyboards, headphones, etc.). He's one of the pioneers of the e-sport scene, I think he deserved what he got.
I'm no way a fanboy of his, but this is a fact.

I don't know anything about sponsoring LoL (which is lol, if it's true), but maybe he had his reasons (like money - none of us living for free). But it would be certainly cool if he sponsored some Quake tournaments as well, but mainly due to the lesser audience, it's not that "worthy" regarding money. Sad, but probably true - Quake would appriciate some "charity" work though; it's not as nearly as a big scene than it was.
