Mappool PQL cup #1 (24 comments)

( Journal: QL)

Posted by Gokusan @ 15:57 UTC, 1 January 2012 - iMsg

Hey guys,
as some of you know, I'm working on a PQL Duel cup for in around 2 weeks and this is the actual mappool I got:

Vertical Vengeance
Furious Heights
Lost World
Aerowalk
Battleforged
Toxicity
Hektik

What maps would you like to see in/out? Keep in mind that they will be played with the PQL ruleset!

that is a vq3 map pool.. use these:

1. Solid
2. Seams and bolts
3. Phrantic
4. Gothic Rage
5. Concrete Palace
6. Devlish

solid is a 2on2 map, seams and bolts is ffa/small ca. Devilish might work with pql. Concrete Palace, yes, defenitely.

What, no Sorrow? :<

You can actually get pretty good air there by jumping off the stairs, and it's much easier to navigate the obstacles with pql physics.

dm6 is terribad w/ aircontrol movement. Way more rinse and repeat than vq3 ever was.

If Quake 3 followed Quake Lives business model I would've spent £457.92 on it to date. Lot of money compared to the £30 or so I paid in in 1999 for it...

as a vql only player basically i think battleforged could be good in cpm/pql (rather than hektik e.g)

Hektik is awesome with PQL mode to be honest.
About Battleforged, I think it has potential but few people told me it's bad and it should be out, so yea..
