a good friend of mine got a quake 1 tattoo on his wrist/forearm. its pretty kickass. you should get a tattoo instead of a poster. shows that you take fanboyism to a whole new level

It's just 1024*768. But that's enough as long as you don't go closer than about a meter.

couldn't you just use a vectorization program on the logo? I don't have much experience with this but I'm thinking it should work pretty well. I toyed around a bit with corel trace when I was at my parent's, don't have it on this pc though.

You can also take a look at Rasterbator to print out your own posters using a regular printer.
The effect you get can be pretty cool. Take a look at the gallery for ideas.

I'm actually thinking about selling clothing and posters of Quake, any decent images, phrases w/ever you guys think would be good post them here!!

First we need the best / largest image we can get that we want on the poster. Personally I'd like either the QL logo or just the Q from Quake 1 (General Quake logo) not a great fan on the Q3 logo.
