wdm3 feels so claustrophobic in .5 though it's no longer what it used to be, but to be fair 14 isn't that great either.

I think warsow is a pretty cool guy. eh, playerbase of 20 people and doesn't afraid of frontpage.

Hey, at least warsow isn't shitty. It has pigs and good netcode, that is universal win.

I did enjoy playing it for some time, a few years back, but I enjoyed quakelive about as much.

Now that you mention it, I must admit that QL is indeed a game I enjoy. What I don't enjoy is its development team.

That statement can be argued. Warsow comunity is much smaller, but at least Warsow generates new players, and no one is going to shut it down when it doesn't generate income enough.

wsw has been dead for more than a year. Look at their forums it's kinda sad.

The less active the forums, the healthier the game servers have become.

Of course I'm not saying wsw has more players than QL, but Warsow is generating new players from people who have never played any quake before.

lets suppose you are right, is that a good thing?
For example I prefer esr to have hundreds of old school players and like 2 noobs (josh and THEBESTQUAKEPLAYEREVER [btw it seems he's using other account after he lost]) than having thousands who don't understand the game at all, and which most probably are teenagers.

the same translates to the game itself. It's better to have 32 good players signed up than 128 who are utter shit because matches become boring.

in any case we'll see how many players are in wsw right now in comparison to last year using this league's signups and the older ones as a reference.
