That's because I really don't get the joke. Maybe the grammatical gender of cars in poland is female? Or maybe the joke is that poles can't dinstinguish between cars and women? Is it an old polish tradition for the husband to ritually steal his wife before the wedding, thereby inviting the car analogy?
Or maybe the devil was so enraged by the inability of the pole to follow simple instructions that he raged himself into oblivion (a bite like rumpelstiltskin?)
I see you need some help with jokes, young padawan, so remember these helpful tips:
1. When making fun of others countries, don't let understanding of your joke be dependent on your own language. It defeats the purpose
2. Choose a stereotype that people actually associate with that country and not one that exists mostly in your head. god knows there are enough about Germans
3. Don't end the joke with something positive about that country. It will look like you couldn't even come up with a propper insult
And on top of that, the devil accepts the BMW answer without arguing, implying an intimate knowledge of polish slang. you just have to wonder how he got that.

I somehow blame autocomplete without blushing, becks ;)
a friend of mine went into some pub in hamburg and talking with some chick for some time, when the chick went to the ladies room, the bartender told him what was up.. he then quickly paid his tab and left the bar :)
i know i know, "a friend"... whatver, wasn't me :D
ya i bet that story is circulating, kind of urban legendy.. but i guess it happens regularly.
my ex roommate went for a stroll through reeperbahn when he was over in hamburg for weekend, and he actually said that some of those transsexuals are unrealistically female looking, like superhot, until you know whats in their pants..
edit: i think what he actally said was 'until you hear their voice'
People from Poland give us their money because they find our medium class cars attractive, meanwhile their women come to Germany because they find our money attractive and no German woman, except maybe some ugly ones, goes to Poland.
Apparantly, this makes Germany look bad and Poland look awesome and therefore it's funny.
basically you told the poles they could keep something that did not / does not exist. combine this with their less than adequate grasp of the english language and you arrive at original "joke" posted in this journal
