This weekend, QuakeLive.TV and djWHEAT team up to bring you coverage of the SilentGamers Duel Cup #2.

Coverage begins on 12:45 CDT, 17 April 2010 and continues with the semifinals and grand finals on 12:45 CDT, 18 April 2010. QLTV will cover Saturday in its entirety, and Sunday will be covered by QLTV with special guest appearance by djWHEAT.
Note: djWHEAT is broadcast at 2 PM EDT (WeaponOfChoice) and again at 4 PM EDT (LiveOnThree), so his participation in the cast is iffy at this point.

Prize pool paid: First place will win $100, Second place will win $50, and Third place will win $25.

Top North American players, DaHanG, rapha, and dkt will not be in attendance. EG's chance/griffin and dark horse player tehnewbz must prove their worth against the likes of swooped, pl4gue, dCoy, whaz, and walter.

if you're referring to the 'wall-bump', i noticed some spec on the stream found it to be weird aswell.

i think its a rather common move, some people (me included) do it like that sometimes.

No, I meant the standard rockejump from gl to ra. In the game I saw he always looked and walked towards ra and did an awkward rj forward.
Usually I see and do this rj sidewards while looking towards sg.

A lot of people do that forward jump. In fact a lot of people use GL to reach the RA too (myself included) in case they don't have RL or PG.

And they did it during Exam weeks for 90% of Unis and Colleges.

This should of waited until like May, and should of been done starting at like 5pm.

Are you even watching Swooped vs. tehnewbz? They're not very big names but their gameplay has been insane. Also, we now have loser's bracket bo5 set coming up because of no shows. For a change, you're getting to see the people who don't get the spotlight because of bigger names.

Moreover, there will be more of these $100 cups from the looks of it.

Well, Pyro is swooped, and tehnewbz has been around for a while and is getting more known because of him beating top players online, so I wouldn't call these players no-names.

But you make a good point, less known players can get the spotlight on them more because of the top players no-shows.
