This was the biggest and toughest ql internet tournament so far. I really thought someone would quickly major those three demos that I've uploaded, tbh ;o

Not heard of the tournament nor the two players in the final man.

and that sucked, i signed up but i missed the start cause i dont read the forum on a regular basis
bodzo played in most of the ql tournaments so far and did quite well

Zsx is probably someone with a fake nick or maybe a player from RA3, I don't know. I play Quake 3 for like seven or eight years, I know most of the mediocre players from Europe, but I haven't heard of him either.

But Bodzo? He's been around for ages, he just had a breakthrough recently.

I heard exactly the opposite from you polish folks: bodzo being a random online cheater known within the Polish Quake 3 scene who is simply aliasing over and over again.

I seriously disbelieve somebody pops up from NOWHERE after ages of Quake 3 and rapes almost most players in entire Europe on online competitions and regular games (such as stermy, spartie, and other well-proven pro-gamers).

Eather the rumors are true, or Bodzo is aliasing as and his true nick is avek or zik :)

bodzo has already been playing lots of q3 in polish tourneys in 2008/2007 and was already there one of the top polish players as far as i know.

Dunno who told you that but I've met all three of those people (av3k, zik, and Bodzo) in person at least once in the same place together. It was in Poznan, at the ESWC Poland Qualifier in 2007 (where Bodzo and av3k were competing, and zik was a kind of celebrity at the PGS booth) and I can assure you that they're all real and that they definitely are three very different people ;))

Moreover, I know av3k's game inside out and I've seen at least a hundred zik's games during my lifetime, so I'm pretty sure that none of these two are aliasing as Bodzo ;o

But 1o1 hates him, and calls him a cheater due to Bodzos accusations (which are justified in comparisons to 1o1's smacktalk), Blanka prolly doesn't like him as well, so if you've heard it from them than I'm not really surprised that it is them that call him a cheater ;)

He just plays ALOT. With experience from q3 and playing alot it's really not that hard to be in the top of ql where no really top q3 players are playing.

guessing he's using zsx cos ac1d is already taken on ql

Shame some people still find it necessary to alias these days, not like anyone expects a uk player to do well in a duel tourney anyway so its no shame to use your name lol.

Some dumb mistakes though on bodzo's part which is probably why some of the games were closer than they seemed.
