compLexity Gaming in conjunction with Creative have launched a movie contest for

QuakeLive. To enter make a QuakeLive movie that's between 3-6 minutes in length. The movie must include the NoobFlicks intro in the very beginning of your entry to qualify. Upload your movie to NoobFlicks.com then post the NoobFlicks link for your movie on the compLexity Gaming news post along with a short description.

Prizes:
1st - Fatal1ty Titanium PCI-Express Soundcard, Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset and a Vado HD Pocket Video Cam
2nd - Vado Pocket Video Cam, Fatal1ty Gaming Headset
3rd - Vado Pocket Video Cam

Entries will be accepted until 04:00 UTC, 21 March 2009, compLexity Staff will choose the finalists and a fan vote will be taken to select the winners.

there are demos on here from qcon not sure they will work with the current version of QL though? just tick the QL box in demo section and search

hmm dont know if it's a good idea to have the contest so early. Quality content will be rare yet, and the deadline is quite soon for a movie with 3-6 minutes compared to the dell contest where the moviemakers had ~4 weeks for 99 seconds.

Is it possible to nudge demos so the crosshair is where you hit (and where it was when you played)? F.e. all my demos are played with above 50 ping and it really doesn't look too beautiful on the demos.
