Like said above, it had some problems with private trackers messing up credits.

Besides, 1.6.1 works perfect for me without errors or crashes or security issues, so I don't see any immediate reasons for me to upgrade to the latest version.

well, in any case, i dont wanna use a closed source prog when there are so many open source alternatives....

although i have to agree that lets say azureus needs a lot more resources than µtorrent (i know that azureus offers a lot more possibilities, but for the normal user the both have the same functionality)

Open source ones are shit and/or not allowed on most decent sites. The latest µtorrent client on the other hand is allowed and works fine. Just a load of paranoia and Azureus is java garbage.

Hmm actually 1.7.2 is the newest on allowed in bitmetv but then again they are more paranoid than 9/11 truthers.

Maybe, some people have decent ISP accounts, depends on what you want really. I went the whole hog and got giganews platinum, it's worth it for not having to fuck around to be honest.

I'm using newsdemon atm, which is £9.53/month (it's pretty much one step down from giganews quality and price wise), but I'm probably going to swap to a cheaper one like MaximumUSENET, which works out around £7/month if you pay quaterly.
