With all these next gen consoles out, why in the world would you want to buy a ps2?

the amount of money you seem to be willing to spend on last gen consoles, why not just buy an xbox360 or ps3?

like someone said you wont get anything out of the games if you have that many, i had a modded ps2 and had about 100 games, probably only played each for about an hour (downloaded them all)

I know ALL about this gen. All the upcoming games for each system through 2008.. most of them don't even look very good. The old systems already have their great games out and copied and stuff, so i can just buy 'wholesale' and play for years straight, just good games.

BTW the best upcoming games for each system stands like this:

Xbox 360: Mass Effect, Two Worlds, Halo 3
PS3: MGS4, DMC 4, FF13
Gamecube: Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, SSBB

then just shut up and buy the damn thing.

Oh and btw, Bioshock for xbox360 (and pc ofc) will be the best game ever =)

Id try and get it for between £100 and £130, i mean there are a lot of games but they are now dated, and the chip dont cost much, i mean it costs u 35 quid to get an xbox 360 modded now so.........ye my intial ideas, i wudnt pay more then that.

Just do yourself a favor and save the money or get a next gen console with one or two games for it instead. I bet that at least 260 of those games are mediocre games you won't be playing for more than an hour anyway.
