I don't believe that it possible-at least without some sort of hack.
Check in the setpoint software what is assinged to the buttons at default, though I'm sure it's just unassinged and you'll get teh X00 thing in quake if you try to bind them.
i got a mx518... it does work with the setpoint drivers installed... the mouse runs smoother with the setpoint drivers installed (matter of personal taste)
I had ms3.0 for 2 years. I didn't like buttons and scroll, but mouse was nice for low sens control.
It died in a club when I dropped it on a floor :( The bottom was broken.
Then was ms1.1, neither bad nor pretty comfort.
Misty has broke buttons of her 1.1 after some weeks of using it :)
In november my mate decided to buy Diamondback, and I took his 518. It just rox!
Now I've bought new X718 and now I want to compare it with all mouses I had :)
