yeah thats lol, and yes its true. and yes i admit that that commercial ripoff of hiphop, the art form i listen to, is horrible. but thats not what i listen to, and therefor lame insults have no base.

there are people who probably find what they love in all sorts of guitar riffs (or smth) and drum solos found within metal music. and yes i like it too. i just hate the extremely overdone 'look at me im so bad i break guitars and live life rock n roll!' or the 'life sucks i wanna die im so dark' images most shit bands paint on themselves. music should be a form of communication, not imagery. so if you mean by 'rap' all this shit corporate MTV is showing, then i agree on the fact its rubbish. this isnt directed to you, but if you recognize yourself in this then dont act like you know what youre talking about when you dont. im sure a lot of these geeks whose only form of discussion is over the internet think its funny to 'troll' so they can feel better, but really man, if youre like that i can only feel sorry for you.

nah, not really. i admit it may come across like that at times, especially from band or song names but in many cases, there's some brilliant song writing involved. of course, it depends on the bands you listen to. take iron maiden for example, their songs are based on history, poetry, current affairs, movies and a lot more.
