Where's Belgium?

Been there done that.

last year i drove there for waffles. happened to see the atomium while there. been to Reykjavík, too. probably a bunch of other places that you have never been to, nor never will.

where's kunming?

China I know where that is! There be commies.

anyone can google, but how often do you leave your iceberg?

Been abroad loads of times, mostly to Denmark. But never outside of Europe(not that I care). And that where's Belgium thing was a line from the latest OdB movie. Too bad you got so offended. Have fun being fake in California.

i know where the quote originated from. and what's this about being fake?

He's probably unaware of the diversity of CA cultures and the fact that it streches up the Entire left side of the North American coast and is home to all types of people of many different cultures.
He's probably never driven along pacific Coast Highway, or seen the seals at pier 39 in san francisco, or taken a boat trip under the golden-gate wondered why the fuck it's hot one minute and cold the next.
Don't spoil his little illusion. All he see's of CA is the fakeness of hollywood and the stupid magazine articles that get written and distrubuted around the world. So naturally he thinks the whole of CA is like what he reads.

oh pier 39.. the memories i have

haha I second that! Did you go on the magic carpet? :)

Well I seem to be getting this illusion from people that lived in California for a long time. Some up to ten years. And I don't read entertainment magazines. And since when does California stretch up the entire coast? Are Oregon and Washington not part of the USA? Maybe Arnie annexed them last week and no one told me :(

Seals?!?! o_0

i've only lived in california for 7 months, but i've known (and so does everyone else here except for you it seems) that california is over 2/3rds of the U.S. west coast. so it's an acceptable figure of speech to say that it stretches up the entire side - especially when making an exaggerrated point.

Too bad Jamerio wasn't making an exaggerated point. Made me look smart and all. You not so smart.

if he wasn't making an exaggeration:

He's probably unaware of the diversity of CA cultures and the fact that it streches up the Entire left side of the North American coast

Don't spoil his little illusion.

All he see's of CA is the fakeness of hollywood and the stupid magazine articles that get written and distrubuted around the world.

then your statement would suggest that he wasn't exaggerating and as such believes all of these statements to be 100% true; which would be ridiculous to believe. therefore, he'd be making you out to be an uneducated retard.

is that the truth you're trying to convince someone of? gj.

Me and booger are not shy to call each other retards, in fact we often do, so that was not my intention. I did actually forget about Oregon etc, even though I know it's there.
His interpretation is quite a common one, I was just saying that unless you visit CA, it's very easy to believe it a cultureless place because that's all the media ever write about, the glamor and the glitz, anyone who's been to hollywood will probably agree it far from the bed of roses that most people hear about.
But if you look at CA as a whole it's got some cool stuff. you just need to go there and see it for yourself (otherwise it's everyone's a beach bum or a movie star). FYI I think Hollywood is very tacky and false, but CA as a whole has a lot to offer, like a lot of places, perhaps excluding some parts in the middle.

When you read comments #14, #16 and then #19 and put them in a proper context you will get you the idea that he made a factual error that I corrected. You on the other hand tried to be smart about it with comment #18 unaware that only four minutes later Jamerio with comment #19 would openly admit me being right and that he was not exaggerating. Therefore comment #14 must be a factual error and must not be treated as conclusive evidence to my retardation even if the poster strongly believed it to be the truth at the time. So I strongly urge you think better of your reasoning in comment #23 because it simply can not hold any water under scrutiny.

Alas I must be off to the land of dreams. I hope we shall continue this stimulating conversation tomorrow.

Forgot about Oregon (portland) and Washington:(

Yes seals!
