To be honest, music is a weird thing where it seems you sometimes regret telling people what you used to make it (maybe there must be some "mystery" left - or just not reveal how lame some things are :D) so I rather not if it doesn't seem too dickish x)
Since you mentioned drums I can say I use Addictive Drums (with the "Metal AdPak") which I like because of price and ease of use, but then again it's one of those hard to recommend things (like most stuff I use) because in all honesty I'm not a big fan of how any of the toms sound... or snares... or kicks... :) So I layer some free samples I've gathered over time (mostly at the awesome Andy Sneap subforum @ Ultimate Metal - go there for actual good knowledge and resources regarding these things!); you can kinda see how I do it in this video (same drum setup as here).
hell no lol
(even without counting all i've put in) i've made less money off it than ql... even won more in sof2 than i've ever got from music xD

Oooh, thanks!
I actually thought the other day that the words at 2:20-2:22 and all the "and tonight I know" at the end had some glimpses of [recent'ish] In Flames. Then again I haven't heard them in years but I'll just keep thinking that c;
The first 30 seconds could do with tightening up, the guitar rift and the beat seems to weirdly go out of sync then pull itself back. Other than that it was very nicely done.
Not actually a thing that's happening though, maybe you're tired? ;)
(Quick look at the waveforms, no weird out of syncness. It's a somewhat quirky riff though, might just be that, dunno.)
I noticed that too actually, sounds to me like the riff is slightly too fast for the kick in the intro, or like you're rushing some notes.
maybe just a personal thing, like our ears would prefer it if it was played more laid back
