lol is that how cheques are written in america? and no/100's...
here it would say 'nine thousands dollars only'

What does no/100's mean?

when we deal with money, it's usually a dollar amount and a cents amount, and there are 100 cents in a dollar.. so like if you go buy a cheeseburger or whatever it might cost 1.49. when youre writing a check(cheque?) and youre not using a cents amount, you just write something like no/100's or x/100, 0/100 or something like that so people cant try to add in some cents later :P

Thanks. I interpreted the cheque as "three thousand sixhundred with no hundreds" so it sounded a little weird lol :)

At the risk of losing 99c, I think it's worth it.

well a "nine thousand"-check could easily be changed to a "nine thousand nine hundred"-check if there wasn't the "no/100's" behind it. :]

Don't think they actually take these cheques and cash them btw.

Be nice to walk into a bank and slam one on the counter tho ;p
