ESR is the greatest website on the interwebz only because of its offtopics.

I started playing quake before you did and I know some day I'll stop playing it (probably when id shuts down QL in a couple of years), but I'll be here as long as moderation keeps being very relaxed.

If you take a close look you'll realize this is more an offtopic forum than strictly about gaming. Moreover, there are 0 current users that take quake seriously, and I'd say a big portion of them haven't played it in years.

You are very lost if you came here looking for any updated gaming related guide or tips on how to improve your game. That's for teenagers.
