The sign-ups for

Quake Live Nations Cup TDM 4v4 Fall Season will be open from Sunday 6th June until Sunday 27th of June 2021.

The Nations Cup start will be Sunday 3rd of October 2021, duration depends on the sign-ups (1 match per week). The NC match day will be Sundays at 14:00 CDT.

Check below for all needed informations and sign-up! If you already have player and clan account on House of Quake, feel free to sign-up right away. Otherwise make sure to register yourselves and your clan first.

This is a retrospective of frags from 2011 to 2014.
I hung up my railgun for good a long time ago, however I wanted to make something special to commemorate all those awesome people and games. This is dedicated to all those people who put in hours enjoying AusQL in those years.

QLWC 2021 (Quake Live Race Cup) (14 comments)

Hello.

So as some of you might have heard, QLWC is a spontaneous event basically identical to DFWC but for us QL players to have a bit of fun.

The community is quite small, at first we were not really planning to announce it anywhere outside of the discord servers but after seeing that the word was spreading anyways i decided to create this post kind of last minute.

In fact the Tournament already started with "round 0" which is a warmup map which can be played until saturday the 24th.
This map doesnt count towards the rankings unless 2 players have the same points by the end of round 4. Then it will be used as a tie breaker map.

To submit your demos and donate towards the Tournaments prize pool contact Extremerz#7016 in discord, who is the host of the event.

This year, we have CrazyAl 's crew that will review the demos on Twitch/Youtube after each round on Mondays at 12:30 CDT
So i'm asking for top 5 to send submit the demos in the next 24 hours after the end of the round. The top 3 of each mode MUST submit the demo.
Please keep in mind this is a friendly competition so keep it fun and friendly.

Munoz: Oh lord, it would�ve been a huge success. It was a mistake using Painkiller, when you look at the results. We were in the right port but we just weren�t carrying enough people on our ship. If we would�ve done Counter-Strike or Quake it would�ve been a huge success. We knew it going into it but there was so much going on behind the scenes of what Intel wanted to show, what Nvidia wanted to do and of course everyone washed their hands of it and blamed us for it. For them it was looking at what taxed the systems more, what would sell the most products. It was a combination of things that led to it."

Quake Live TDM fragmovie

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you watch it in 4K or AT LEAST 1440p because youtube's shitty quality with 1080p and lower may ruin your experience, you can also download it which is the best option in my opinion.

Quake III DeFRaG run on a fantasy puzzle map. This is a very interesting single player experience. There are two random puzzles that are different on each run, so you have to learn the patterns and act quickly in order to solve them as fast as possible. Special thanks to SOCK for designing this fantastic map.
