Don't tell me that it's happening because of low specs, because it runs perfectly on an office laptop from 2010, it's Quake 3... I have no problems with HOMM III. And I haven't tried to run any other games on this laptop yet.

Also, it is probably note worthy that if it runs in a window mode the matrix goes away. And if I try higher resolutions it also runs smoothly but then game appears to be running in a rather small window but w/o window panel with no borders at all.

I've tried to update GPU drivers, I've tried different game settings, I've also tried to change settings in game's compatibilities (right click > properties > compatibilities) and once it helped when I changed compatibility to Windows 8 (the best one it's offered) but it helped for just one launch.

Hello. A month ago I bought a Logitech G900 in a trust worthy gaming shop I always buy gaming stuff in. But I didn't like it somehow mainy because of the weird sensor, don't really know if it's defected or anything but when I went down to checking serial numbers on the box and the mouse they didn't match (last 3-4 characters). So, today I went to this shop explaining the problem on what they said that it's all good as it's a common case when it comes to Logitech peripherie (a manager presented me another unboxed G900 and serial number there didn't match as well). He also said that if I wish I can send it on warranty diagnostic but before this I wanted to talk to community.

So do any of the Logitech owners here have this serial number issue too? And how does a G900 fare for you guys? Do you find its sensor weird too by any chance?

My problem is when I open QL my screen goes all gray and it won't load further. I've had Quake in my library before the steam intergation and I was also a pro sub a couple of months ago but not before integration (if that matters). Did anyone else have ths problem?

Hello dear Quakers. I've got a problem and I wholeheartedly hope you will help me because it has been bothering me for many months now and I don't know any other place to go for advice.

The problem is that when I try to play games that require even a little over average requirements they just shut down.

What happens:

CS:GO works 10 minutes max before it crashes down with a common "close/report" table

any HOMM above IV ends up in the same shit as CS:GO

CS 1.6 goes the same scenario but not always, sometimes it's good for a couple of hours while the other day it works for 5-15 minutes before it will crash. But it's really random because after crash I can play it again for hours or it will crash again.

Quake Live didn't ever bother me with these kind of problems.

HOMM III works perfectly fine too.

If that anyhow matters I cannot record videos with fraps too, it will ALWAYS crash by the end of the loading bar.

So based on these indicators you may conclude that the higher the game's requirements are, the more there is a chance to encounter problems.


What I tried:

Cleaning the box with the hairdryer and a brush.

I've tried to see and increase the fan speed with the SpeedFan app. None of the fans were working full (64 max) according to this app, so I set it all on 100 and it didn't solve anything. Although I didn't hear that it started to working louder after increasing their speed.

Please help or recommend any good site.

What the fuck is wrong with ql lately that it doesn't let me join any server, it never stopps to await connection and it's happening like 5th time just that month. Anyone knows if there's anything I can do about this or it's another well done from id and I just have to wait.

I've got an offer to exchange my Logitech g5 for one of these mice g400/g402/deathadder 3.5g. I've had the g400 as well as g400s and I'm not interested in them anymore. g402 has a ridiculous look for my taste and it's also too heavy and not so good sensor for its price borrowed from g100s. So I'm inclining to the deathadder one and I need a feedback, did anyone have experience with it? The main criteria I need to know is what sensor does it use and is it any good? From what I understood it's a relatively old model (2+ years old) so supposedly its seonsor isn't that good. It doesn't have to be super good though, I'm mainly worried for the LOD and that it wouldn't have jitters and other noticeable glitches. I don't need this g5 mouse of mine for fuck sakes and I need at least something to hold on to make an exchange.

It doesn't hassle me much since I use http://qlmm.gameboni.com/ but sometimes I can make a good use off original interface but I'm unable to. It just won't show any server regardless of what game type I choose or location or any other parameter. It's been like that for over a month and like I said I'm fine with gameboni but you it doesn't support other game types.

Anyone knows a fix for this?

Clucthing like a real mofo, although his movements don't look very accurate but rather sloppy for a top tier player if some claims him to be that. 2) Can I browse servers while being on the server?
3) Every time I open quake I need to /exec my config, can I set it default so I don't have to every time /exec?

Am I doing it right? Settings > game settings > demos? I just played some guy and can't find that demo in the list. Only got one with that dude playing someone else, before our match when I was in queue to play him but when I replayed demo it ended as soon as they finished their match. There is no demo I'm looking. Is it not saved or should I look for it somewhere else?

Out of nostalgy I have picked a day, took my car and made a visit to those few internet cafes that are still at live, I used to hang in back then. Couldn't recognise anyone, everything is so different, every single pc is run at shitty mmorpg strategies, I'm throwing up. Even the playground.ru, I used to play on their servers in 2002, then in 2005, 2008 and they are even online today.
