I'm not big fan of moba games. Also in my oppinion threre is no reaon to play team-based games a lot if you don't have a team...

I quite like dota 2 or csgo but without proper team is not that good. That's why I pretty like Hots and it's casual (?) way.

- fun
- matches are short
- heroes from blizzard universe
- skins, not that important, but much better than other moba games
- i don't really care if I win or lose
- matches are more even, I think
- easier to make 'comeback' than other moba games
- good to play short match after work
- more team based? less carry based?

Seems to be more casual than other games, but who cares.

any1 play it?

I played dota 2 mostly. And it's probably the most superior moba game. But it sux a bit when solo queue. Also ranked matches are only AP gamemode. Captain's mode for solo it's even worse.

Tried LoL after graphics patch, it's quite ok game now imo.
Smite is also cool.

Hots is also quite a lot different than LoL or Dota 2.

Haven't played it yet, planning to get it soon. If the matches are shorter then that definitely increases my interest, I hated getting stuck in long LoL/DOTA matches where neither team had players capable of finishing a game.

you can get free key from blizzard or some giveaways

you can buy founders pack with 3 hero but im not sure if its worth.

unfortunately you need to grind for heroes.

Yep, this kinda such. You need to grind in game gold to buy heroes or pay for it with money. But you can earn gold from daily quests etc.

still gameplay is much different than doto.

im not really sure if hots will be 'competitive'

and you don't need to spend your money, you can level it up with in game currency.

there is also free heroes pool.

It will be interesting to see if the characters in Overwatch need to be unlocked or not, the game interests me but I don't really follow news on it, so no idea if that's known yet or not. I would lean towards no though, so they'll probably have something else you can spend money on or progress/unlock.

Competition will be a joke just like in World of Tanks, Hearthstone or other rock paper scissors depth games.
Overwatch will be the same or even worse.
These games are made in such a way you don't need any mechanical skill. Knowledge and luck is everything.

but imo its more like WoW battlegrounds arena with isometric look.
