Corepad mouseskates are really bad, they don't have rounded edges and scratch the mousepad.

I wouldn't recommend them over any other brand.

Which ones you recommend?

The razer's feel the smoothest for me, zowie not far behind but the feets are huge and I'd rather keep it small personally. The razer's will smoothly glide on the mousepad (cloth) without any making gliding sound.

I've tried takasta's (not sure if it's the right spelling but i'm talking about those ones: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Logitech-G100-Hotline...43b91e3ff7 ) and they aren't as smooth as the razer ones and won't glide silently on the mousepad confirming that.

I haven't tried the Hyperglides unless that's one bst used on the beta aurora and in that case I'd say they are more than fine. :)

If you are looking for feets for an Abyssus then I think it's a no brainer and you should go for the razer's as they have the right shape, I don't know another brand who does skates with the right shape for the Abyssus besides corepad but theirs are terribly bad.

That's how the G400 skates I got from Puretrak were, I just pressed my fingernail along the edges and then wax-on-wax-off'd on my desk for a few seconds and they were rounded well enough.

Someone said the Corepad skates are thin and shitty though, so I guess it was a bad suggestion anyway.

remove stock feet
apply teflon feet, recommend small circle shape, hyperglide or corepad are both good quality
use tape trick to adjust lod

corepad sucks, they are really thin, if you put it intro groove it will be almost flat and after few month - totaly flat
so, white feet its corepad and black feet its SS kinzu glides

Before that I used the SS kinzu glides for top feets, but I cut one big feet in two small feets and it was bad idea.

if it is for the LOD, just apply the tape-trick.

Would there be a difference between the tape and higher mousefeet in term of "performance loss"?

performance is still the same, because the tape just cuts off the light which only comes in play when the mouse is lifted off.
higher mousefeet on the other hand influence your grip due to the overall higher mouse, and is only the nubs approach to the problem imo.
