hi all

wanna know if anyone can help me, i wanna make my own grenade color and the enemy grenade color yellow without changing the enemy model color from green / blue to yellow / blue.

does anyone know if that is possible, if so what should i change?

yeah it's possible, and pretty useful, too.

your own grenade colour (set the colour in the quotes with a hexadecimal code):
cg_weaponColor_grenade " "

your enemy/team weapon colours, which I think can be set in the GUI
cg_forceEnemyWeaponColor "1"
cg_forceTeamWeaponColor "1"

these commands will use
cg_enemyUpperColor
cg_teamUpperColor
to set color of rail and greandes

what would be useful is: team nades one color, enemy nades other color. hate in CA when you walk into a spammed zone and you're not sure which nades will hurt and which wont

yep this is what I do, it helps a bunch. also good for CTF and TDM if you play those modes

Yes, but your own ones hurt less and don't explode on impact with your playermodel

neither your own rockets nor the nades explode on contact with the player hitbox

you can test it with rockets on battleforged teleporter

Out of curiosity, do you know if it holds true for all projectile weapons or can you theoretically be hit by your own plasma?

Can't test right now :/

But honestly its better to distinguish the 2 types of grenades:
