I've recently bought Steelseries Xai to replace my broken abyssus which has turned out to be quite a bad decision. The shape of the mouse is great, much more like WMO than the abyssus. Also I really like that XAI is quite a bit heavier than WMO and abyssus. Tracking is really nice when i don't lift the mouse off the mousepad.

What ruins the mouse for me is that whenever i lift the mouse off the mousepad it starts to jitter like those 10$ laser mouses. Whenever I reposition my mouse, the cursor moves randomly in all directions. Also what's super annoying is that my xai seems to have a lift-off distance of about 4mm on QCK and goliathus control. That's really strange considering many people claim it has 1mm lift-off on all surfaces. Those two things combined make using this mouse very annoying.

So my question to people who own XAI: is my XAI foobared or is this a typical behaviour of this mouse and i should just return it?

[EDIT] Replacement doesn't have the same fault. I also found out that XAI is incapable of 1DPI increments as advertised. It only works @90DPI increments regardless of what you set your ExactSense on. There is no hardware or software capability of adjusting DPI by 1.
