The 57th ZOTAC QL Duel Cup will be played this Sunday. As usual it will consist of SE brackets using the bo1 format until the quarter finals. Then the games will be played as bo3 with the exception of the Final being played as bo5. The prize still is 100€ for 1st place!

T4 has different item system that's the main reason some ppl don't like it.
But as I said, it doesn't have rigid moving paths, there's no really fixed rushing routes on this map, which makes it fluid like water.

wtf with lvl^ shoutcaster. When Cooller wins, its cause he is better, and when he loses its cause ping, luck, and other whines.

When we are shoutcaster we have to don't give his opinion, particulary when its shit. And on dm13 strenx has said gg, Cooller didn't on t4 and has whined on t7, great sportmanship.

No, the big moment at the start was Cooller getting right behind strenx with mh + ra and missing two rockets with strenx one meter away from him and looking in the opposite direction. It had nothing to do with the ping. strenx outplayed him the rest of the game. Give credit when it's due.

I'm not saying he's definition of correctness, but who's opinion and analysis of the game do you value more, one of that who's multiple times world champion in quake series, or just some commenter on ESR? First of all, he has much more insight of the game than probably all people who commented in this thread combined, and second, it was game he actually played himself, so he by definition knows much more about it than any of us, who are mere spectators (i.e. he may have noticed a little details that have occurred to him that you just can't at all see when spectating, like peculiarities of mouse feel or weapon firing response), and it's just improbable that someone here has enough in-game experience or knowledge to watch stream and provide a more reasonable and calculated review of that game than cooller who experienced the game himself.

When cooller says "all ping" it's an informational message. So one doesn't get confused about the whys and be hugely disappointed when performing poorly on the next lan event.

I mean, cooller's already proven how much he cares about them youngsters, e.g. by giving away free couch time advice. I really can't understand how these lovely gestures could be misunderstood.

nothing special, cooller won dm13, theres no rail
then t4 strenx outrailed him
t7 cooller missed some easy shit and lost too

some say ping didnt help

on dm13 cooller just played better and even in the end around the 8min mark cooller outaimed strenx... cooller said it was because he was concentraing and I said it was because of his imba dodge. Cooller agreed. Strenx replied that he knows cooller's dodge. Seriously, it goes on like this.

t4 strenx surely outrailed cooller somewhat. but cooller didnt play bad but there were a couple of situations where cooller should have fragged strenx but i didnt because he just didnt hit the shots.

t7 the beginning was very crucial. cooller hat mh and ra and tried to go in for the kill - ambushed strenx from behind without strenx noticing it. Cooller should have hit 100% but he did not. I dont know why but it surely did not help that he failed in that situation. Also, whenever cooller was in control, strenx just hit all the rails and he was back in the game...

dunno what cooller thought about the game.

t4 cooller was rushing with mg a couple of times hoping it would change to cpmavq3 so he can actually do some damage. it didn't. thus gave away a couple of frags, later on switched to rail in a bad moment.

t7 strenx annihilated him.

Kobe is great but overrated. Not his fault, but he is given too much credit for his team's successes. Also benefits from the media wanting to create the next Jordan and him wanting to be it so much (copying his mannerisms, moves, #24 lol :P). Still, top 10 guard all time. And still roughly in the top 5 most valuable active players.

kobe is possibly the best player ever! Jordan never had a jump shot like kobe, and he only got hyped so much (Jordan) because he played at North Carolina (College). Had kobe gone to college, my GOD the hype that would have been! kobe is special, just ask Casol. kobe has played so many games by always being in the playoffs, his body is slowly but surely breaking down on him.

I wear Jordan's stuff and I'm also a big Jordan fan! With that being said...kobe rules!

I would agree Kobe's outside shot is marginally better, but that's the only advantage I would give him. Despite this, Jordan's field goal percentage is much higher too, despite the fact he played in an era where hand checking and much more physical defence was allowed.

FYI, some interesting statistics that compare player efficiency. It is also scaled against the players playing in your era. This limits the effects of major rule changes (e.g. handchecking) and easier competition (when Wilt was playing) skewing results.

Stats aren't everything, but interestingly it ranks Jordan as #1 and Kobe #18 in all time efficiency / production. That is about where I would rank them as players all time too.

I never said that. However, thanks, I appreciate the feedback. If you think I am clueless that is maybe because I am a bit puzzled sometimes (that's just my thing). I can't just stress enough that I have roughly 8 years of quake experience but only recently began with dealing with the mindset of a dueler. The transition is not as easy as one might thing with a heavy TDM/CTF background.

Well he analyzed a game he just lost and he is a sore loser, ofcourse it wasnt just ping.

Cooller isnt known for allways being honest either. Back in q3 he allways said he didnt practise for lan tournament, i remember i think it was cxg or something, and cooller as usual said he didnt have any practise before the tournament. Then there was a interview with jibo who said he and cooller had a bootcamp :)

Considering how much i see them online with the normal accounts and how much they play with those its very unlikely that they paid for an extra account to practice with the same ppl in secret as well.

I also don't really see any fakers anymore in Europe either since the premium update with everyone playing on passworded servers anyway.

If you think some people don't play enough according to their match history for them to be this good then maybe you just overrate practice. Rapha for example usually comes to Europe before tourneys and boot camps here instead of playing tons of games online in the US.

Maybe only jibo practiced in bootcamp and cooller just played to help jibo, but didn't practice himself. How can you be so sure that he isn't honest? He knows better about himself, he can tell practice from other things, and he can tell better than anyone else whether what he did was practicing or not. While all you haters do is always find some contradictions or other shit in his speeches and pretend you can know better about him that he himself does.
