Deathadder's and all QcK pads are known to not get along very well.

I have the 1800 dpi Deathadder and originally used a QcK and experienced occasional tracking problems.

I switched to an Allsop Raindrop XL and have absolutely no tracking issues now.

Solution: bitch slap Razer and tell them to go back to 1800dpi

That's actually what I'm planning to do, I'm gonna return this mouse tomorrow and buy a 1800 DPI deathadder.

Yep, It is a known problem with the 3.5G sensor (DA, Abyssus) and many cloth pads. My Abyssus did the exact same thing on my Qck and my Puretrak Talent. Hell even my 1800DPI deathadder jitters on my talent.

My personal solution? Do not buy from Razer. Their mice have a really high lift off distance, scrape the mouse pad because they are too cheap to give thicker feet and have jitter issues with very common cloth mouse pads.

Meh, I never got what everyone was going on about. Maybe I was just lucky, but my deathadder NEVER jittered on my Qck. Maybe it was because I had the Qck on the table with the width as the length (on a side) but it work fine for a very long time. Infact, probably more so then the Xai I use now, but I use the Xai because it's more my shape...

Which version of the Deathadder did you have?

@Alud I don't know of any other mouse that has as high max perfect control speed as this one and the abyssus except the MX518 which has prediction that I hate.

every mouse with the ADNS-9500 (Xai, G9x, G500, Naos, etc.) have an even higher perfect control speed and don't have angle snapping (aka prediction)

That's not true, I have a G500 and you get positivie and negative acceleration at speeds far lower then that of the MX518. Especially if you have the DPI set to above 1000.

I know its not unusual for the g500, which is why it sucks. And how does max perfect control speed become less important at dpi above 1000?
not that i care, its not like i need more then 400 or even 200 at the sensitivites that i play on

I'm just saying that you are pretty much there first on complaining about the max. speed of the G500, I don't really care much about the G500 cause it's not a mouse for me (Logitech hasn't made a mouse for me for ages)

to put it simple:

the higher your sensitivity the more CPI you need, the higher your sensitivity the less fast you usually move your mouse ;)

I know that the G500 has an issue with little pos. accel., so does every other mouse with that sensor (it's a sensor issue) but that has nothing to do with the mouse skipping like hell as shown in your youtube link

Dude ou need to move the mouse VERY VERY fast to have it skip. its virtually impossible to reach those speeds in-game. However the positive/negative accel is a problem in-game.

A4 tech , spent 15€ on a mouse doesnt skip on any surface even on my goliathus speed . and it comes in lots of diferent shapes with the same sensor , has 0 liftof tracking and the software allows you to macro to your hearts contempts .

This isn't a crappy laser mouse, which is the specific reason I bought it. The reason I bought it is because of it's insane max tracking speed which no other mouse without prediction can match (yes i know the mx300, mx500 and mx518 are roughly as high but they have prediction) which I don't beleive your mouse can match.

Ok then now I've returned the 3.5G and ordered the 3G, hopefully the 3G won't have the same problems. But if they do like most of you seem to claim, could I get some advice on good mousepads that work with the deathadder? No razer fanboys are alowed to answer.

Anyone know about this mousepad? It's big enough to be an upgrade from the QcK+ and it looks sleek.

I haven't read any udefull user opinions on the Sargas (mousepad reviews mostly suck :D) but it's for certain one of the pads I'll try some time in the future.

My 3G 1800DPI deathadder does not jitter at all on my new Qck. I tested this quite a few times to make sure for myself after I found out that it does jitter badly on my puretrak talent.

eventhough i have an old qck im pretty sure DA jitters on new one if you move it vertically along the 20-degrees-to-vertical-axis direction

I had this problem on the talent and qck+ with both a Abyssus (3.5G) and a 3G Deathadder. It isn't exclusive to 3.5G.

Use the allsop raindrop. No tracking issues whatsoever

Problem with the Allsop Raindrop is that there are no stores that sell it near me. I could order it online but if I do it will cost me ALOT more then buying a Mionix Sargas 460 or Razer Goliathus Alpha Speed in a store. (or any other mousepad).
Anyobdy have experience with any of these mousepads along with the Deathadder? If not, anyone got any suggestions other then the Raindrop XL?

control version doesnt cause jitter at all but it's fucking awful surface

Can't say I'm having the same issues as my DA 3500 doesn't have those jitter's on my PureTrak Talent.

I did a little line test as well in Paint.net. Compare for yourself.

Actually it does look like it might be doing the jitter crap on your short middle vertical line. Do a test of a bunch of long slow vertical lines, make sure you move the mouse around and try different areas of the pad.

This is what the DA 1800DPI does on my talent, the DA and G500 were at 900 DPI and the MX518 was at 800DPI, the logitech mice were used as a reference to show how a mouse should track without the razerfailjitter.

There are a *few* jaggies here and there but this is at slow speeds and I don't notice it in game and effectively doesn't seem to deter from the overall accuracy of the mouse which I rate as excellent. A few jumped pixels outside of the game will not show up in game if your sensitivity isn't high and my sens is about 15"/360. I'm guessing the issue is showing up in both of our DA's but your's is more significant as I'm able to get some perfectly straight line's at slow speeds. Also you referenced the 3500 earlier and now you're referencing the 3500, so you have both mice and the issue occurs on both? I just got the 3G Deathadder and I'm not having the same problems AT ALL on my QcK+ (and yes ive turned off prediction). I guess the old DA is just much better.

It's just a shame the old DA has a crappy rubber cord instead of a kickass braided cord like the new DA. :( but thats a minor thing really.
