As a former Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Wolfenstein:Enemy Territory player I have very fond memories of those games that QL just can't seem to replace. The mechanic in particular I miss the most is revives. Reviving was the main mechanism which promoted the teamwork those games are known and remembered for. I would truly and honestly love to see this mechanic in Quake Live.

The main changes I would like to see to Freeze Tag are:
A new weapon to instantly thaw teammates from very close range only.
Teammates respawn where they are thawed.
Frozen players are able to be gibbed and gibbed instantly with the gauntlet via a multiplier that only affects frozen players.
Server admins are able to configure the amount of damage required to gib frozen enemies with regular weapons.

Game rules for this type of gamemode:
Eliminate all opposing enemies.
Use teamwork to keep your team alive and deny the enemy a chance to kill or be killed again by gibbing them.
Play best of 5 rounds on a map to decide which team has the best teamwork.
Spawn with all CA weapons with finite ammo.
Gibbed enemies drop the weapon they died with, giving a chance to replenish ammo.

I would like to see some contribution from the community about the instant thaw weapon, perhaps artwork or what it would be called. For a name I was thinking like Heat Gun or Sonic Gun to blast the ice off of frozen teammates. I am also open to any other suggestions or criticisms. I would also like to know what sort of health/armor a thawed person should have, I think 100/100 for thawed and 200/100 for fresh spawn.
