qck too fast? oh dear lord

I bought myself a G400 a couple of weeks ago, and a Razer Goliathus Control (Large) to go with it. It's my first mouse pad, and I have to say I'm absolutely in love with it. I bought it off of a recommendation from another Quake player (though he uses the WMO mouse).

I love it, and can't recommend it enough. :) $20 off of Amazon.

I play on 800 DPI. I play more games than Quake, but unless I'm mistaken, my sensitivity is around... 2-something in Quake Live?

I usually play on a pretty low sensitivity.

qck heavy too fast? lolwut

i dont know why its just seems the qck heavy with the hyperglides glides too fast and is a little unstable for me ...

did the hyperglides break in already?
they are slower then.

FYI: Hyperglides are getting slower after a few days.

My 2 cents: MX518 + Steelseries 5L(black edition) == maximum control, but they discontinued it because it was too expensive to make, so it's hard to find nowadays:/

puretrak complexity, i've got it myself, it last longer than (almost?) every mousepad i had, more than 2years i've got it and still in perfect shape. also there is some friction (i haven't been playing on a qck since like 5years so i couldn't remember if the friction was higher/lower/same as my actual pad)

but get in mind that a new mousepad glidez like hell (also more if you have new mouseglidez), so i recon that you use like 3month the qck then you can get if you like it or not (3month is long for a gamer, i agree!)
