I don't know about Birmingham, but how accessible is the place? I wonder if theres too much supply and little demand.

the bullring is up the road from the game centre - bus station is like 2 mins away and the main train station - new street is about 10 min walk

lots of shops

pizza hut , mcdonalds n all them are like 2 mins away

its in a great location

+ the area is very popular so should be a popular place

i realy want a job there but no reply and dont know where to apply online

whats lol about that? a game cafe like this is a great place to get a drink too. not even mentioning the amount of companies that will book a couple of computers there, who always like to have a couple of beers in between games.

this initiative is great and if handled right, sujoy is not only gonna make a LOT of money off this, he's also going to create a real 'center ' for events, making a home for the future of e-sports in (western) europe. best of luck to sujoy

oh dont get me wrong, i think its a great idea, i just think a bar might be a little tricky to work with. how will they regulate who goes into the bar? a 24/7 doorman is probably the only option. it is illegal to be underage in a bar, they need to be careful or there will be some big ass fines.

i work at a gamecafe that has a bar in it. we never have any problems with that sort of stuff. if youre not sure if someone is old enough to drink, ask for an id. easy as that :)

i would also think that they will have a database with every1s customer details so they will know the correct age n customers should just have to show a passport or somethin of the same kind.

i understand that :) the drinking is the easy part to control. its not even legal to be in a bar if you are underage. just wondering how you go about keeping the minors out?

is the bar in an 18+ zone? (or whatever the legal drinking age is in britain, its 18 here in new zealand)

hmm i guess the law must be a little different over there then. here in canada, i go to this sports pub across the road where most people only come to drink and shoot some pool. however i have seen kids under the age of 10 running around sometimes. they're allowed to order food and play arcade games. guess they just ask you for your id if you look underage. hell, they even have a bar inside Boston Pizza, a pizza place so i'm guessing it would work the same way as serving alcohol in a family restaurant.

an 18+ zone in a gaming cafe would own though haha.. wouldn't have to put up with noisy CS kids and you could probably drink beer while playing q3.

its vip access only and afaik they will have doormen/security there anyways so putting one on that door too wouldnt be a problem

Look's cool, but it it would have been nice to see such renders where the guy was saying "and when this bit is finished it'll look like this".

I can also do pre-rendered virtual fly-throughs and what the hell, could even go real-time walk-through with this.

Look's like a winner though, but for me every LAN experience is spoilt by CS players. Which is a pain because I know they're every LAN cafe's bread and butter.

Yes I saw that aswell, though it wasn't really a "render" as I understand the definition.
I'm talking a lot higher quality than that. More towards photorealism at a glance.
