Bo1 is really gay in tournaments.

well, its kinda understandable if you have around 80 ppl in an online cup and want to finish it in a reasonable timeframe

if admins will do good seeds, till quarter superduper players wont play each other and then we have bo3, but still its tourney for 1st place and FUN, so..

tbh I like that the cup doesn't take a whole day to finish... as really it's so hard to play good maps continuously, without real breaks....
I know from myself that after about 7 maps which I really try on... I need at least 1 hour 'rest / break' to be able to care enough to win again ;)
so that's 3 bo3's max (and I shouldn't lose many maps in those bo3's ;))

sure I can play 15 maps in a row if I have to.. but I'll play them all at like 70percent....
This way I can play all maps pretty well focussed without really having to wory about playing shit later on in the tournament ;)

And yes it's kind of a shame (for me) that I lost this time around to guard in a bo1 match... but hey he just played the map a bit better than me ;)

all those cs players look so hopped up on adderall every time i see streams of them

there's something pretty strange with them, especially because they don't spray cum everywhere

Yeah bo1 isn't perfect , if u get to good players , but one isn't lucky with map ... but ofcors ~80 ppl cup in 1 evening its ok.

bo3 could start earlier, easily :)

if seeds are good, dont need imo, but maybe 1 round early not bad.. but players should be all in time all rounds, coz cup tik night, fuck it..

It's a bit shaky but it's better then nothing.

I love that they actually do an effort that gives us the oppotunity to actually watch those awesome games, but it really annoys me that the stream is so bad. Constantly spikes and breaks up for me :(

strenx's shaft acc was 49% on dm6, 41 on dm13 and 43 on t9 --> awesome, especially considering this level of dodging skills

cooller's shaft acc was 25% on dm6, 33 on dm13 and 27 on t9 --> must improve lightning gun, and put m_filter 0 and in_mouse 2 lol


also i liked how strenx dominated dm6 with shaft(a bit)+sg (110max)

Dude you obviously have no clue at all. Yes strenx aims better than Cooller but you can't simply compare the accs to come to that conclusion... Cooller is more of a spam player (he also spams shaft) - about m_filter: it just smoothes the mouse movements - lot of great aimers use and used it... (toxjq, Cypher..)

strenx has in_mouse 1 in his config, too. ;O

strenx got away with 25 health or less against cooller's shaft a shitload of times. Sometimes he'd be fighting for a second or two with next to no health.

I'm don't think it was just cooler and the other players being lazy but it seems like strenx just raised the 1v1 bar for QuakeLive. I haven't see someone play that fast and on-point in a while, but maybe he just made it look easy because the other players weren't thinking.
