Fazz joins Excello (78 comments)

Only one day after nfinity eSports announced that

Pär "fazz" Söderman joined their organization, Team Excello was able to get the final hold on him. He will now be able to head off to QuakeCon 2009 alongside his team partner madix.

Statement from Karl "karl1" Danielsson - Excello team captain

The Excello also made two additions to their TDM Squad:

- Ove "Dibbe" Zetterström, who played on Team Sweden when they won the ClanBase Aationscup in 2006 and has acquired several high place finishes in the ClanBase eurocup with [FOE]
- Karl "fooKi" Johansson will also join Team Excello's Quake Live team as an inactive backup-player to participate in future TDM events.

I wrote it fast as I was asked for a statement on irc, and what I ment was, that both me and Fazz belived that he wasn't ready to compete against people like rapha, so we decided before he joined us that he wouldn't compete in Quakecon, and we would instead send him on next event that hosts a Quake Live tournament, like Dreamhack.

The reason I joined nfinity, was because SK|fisk approached me and I believed a old cs-pro would understand what a player wants in a organization. I promised to join for nothing but future support, for this reason only. Then I realize this was not the case(fisk being fisker that is, he told me himself the day after when he realized it was a misunderstanding) And then I got a plane ticket by xlo instantly. I don't think I need to explain further.

I specc'd a tourney game of fazz vs blanka a couple of days ago, when he was actually with nfinity :)
His T4 was awesome as usual, but he got raped on T7 and outclassed on dm13. He then went onto win dm6 due to an awesome rail gun :) The last match was t9, which blanka didnt even seem to know, although fazz looked pretty sorted on it to be fair.
I wish the guy the best of luck, I just want to watch awesome matches :)
