Why do I do this? Because like many of us I played the first Quake and even Duke Nukem)) on lan during my childhood. Yet still I want the Quake community to flourish and reward me and all fans of the game with great matches, tournaments, reports etc.
When there are no tournaments with prize money the interest of players and fans decreases and that’s what I’m trying to combat. I’m sure I’m not the only one. The community has a lot of adult, successful people, as well as many young people who fell in love with the game.
I want to ask the community to help build on the foundation I and the 125fps team have laid and increase the prizes in the coming leagues. Fundraising is nothing new and is employed to collect funds for all kinds of events. I’m sure that many of you will be happy to chip in a sum that’s admissible for yourselves and even happier to follow the tournament you yourself made a contribution to!
Below are various ways to donate money for prize funds of 125fps.com leagues.
The reputation of the 125fps leagues guarantees for a fair distribution of funds. I myself will continue to contribute about 31500p(~1000$) every month.
I propose the following prize money distribution (31500RUR + donations)

15% of the donations will go towards the organization and coverage of the league, in particular recruitment of streamers.
Additionally I suggest limiting the prize pool of every league by 3500$. If there is more than 2500$ worth of donations the surplus funds get transfered to the next league. The biggest donators will be listed below every leagues prize pool (voluntary).
The fundraising will start with the announcement of the next league."

Will be held on Friday, 18:00 CDT, 10 May 2013, it will consist of the top eight players with the highest points totals
Rounds one and two will be a bo3, and the finals will be bo5.
Please make sure that you are able to attend the finals, before signing up to any of the events.

*All players who participate in the events will receive an official Quake Live participation trophy case award

All players must record a demo, in case there is a dispute in regards to fair play.
All players must try to play on a server in which there pings are as close as possible. Please respect all opponents while playing.
All players must record there correct scores after finishing there matches in a timely manor.
If a player has not shown up for a match within 15 minutes of the scheduled time for that match they will be Forfeit Lost.
If you are on a private server with a password and the games are being streamed/casted please inform an admin of the server location and password.
Matches chosen to be casted cannot start until the caster is in the server and ready.

All players must check in, or they will have there spot taken by a wait listed player. Check in will be hosted on #Targetquake or IRC Webchat and will begin one hour before the start of each event at 6:00pm EST.

Live streaming and casting can be found on the Targetquake Productions site on the day of the scheduled events. I will also have guest casters throughout these events.
