ASUS ENC 2010 Prize Money Details (64 comments)

Today the esl3 ESL has just announced the details of the prize money for the ASUS European Nations Championship 2010 and its 6 games. The total cash prize for this new season will be 120 000€ and split as following:
- 64 500€ for the prize money
- 55 500€ for the offline events
The first of these offline events will take place this weekend in France Poitiers at the Futuroscope during the Gamers Assembly 2010. More informations should be announced about it soon.

ENC Quakelive teams & qualifications (62 comments)

During the IEM IV World Finals, the ESL published the list of the Quakelive TDM teams which will take part in the qualification process of the ASUS ENC 2010. The Qualification Round 1, which will consist of 3 matches and 3 w/o, should start next week.

The winners of QR1 will play against the teams in QR2. Then the winners of QR2 will meet the teams of QR3. Finally, the winners of QR3 will be qualified for the regular season. 6 nations are getting a direct invitation and won't need to get into the qualification process.

ENC Quakelive needs more captains (78 comments)

The European Nations Championship 2010 was announced a few days ago and qlQuake Live TDM 4v4 will be one of its game. We already received many captains applications for some countries, but a few nations are still missing applications. As the deadline to send your application in on Sunday, we urge the players who want to stand up for their nations to send us an email at [email protected].

The following countries for Quakelive need more captain applications: Belarus Belarus, Croatia Croatia, Slovenia Slovenia, Luxembourg Luxembourg, Czech Republic Czech Republic, Greece Greece, Bosnia Hercegovina Bosnia Hercegovina, Unset Lichtenstein, Israel Israel, Turkey Turkey, Switzerland Switzerland, Norway Norway, Estonia Estonia, Lithuania Lithuania.

Quake Live becomes part of ENC 2010 (293 comments)

For the first time qlQuake Live will be part of the European Nations Championship. Today the ESL announced Quake Live and Counter-Strike 1.6 Female to be the two new disciplines of the European Nations Championship 2010 instead of Defense of the Ancients (DotA) and Call of Duty 4. Play mode is 4on4 Team Deathmatch. Prize money will be announced tomorrow.

wc3_1 Warcraft III (Play mode: 4 x 1on1 & 1 x 2on2)
fifa FIFA 10 (Play mode: 3 x 1on1)
CSS Counter-Strike: Source (Play mode: 5on5)
