After I moved to Sweden to live to my dads place i started noticing these framelags. First I though it was my PC. I tried all kind of different GFX settings (vsync is off). I reseted my CFG and I even format my PC to see if it was gone but nope.. its still there.


My thought is that it might be inside the router that he have. Its a Wifi router but you can connect normal network cable to it which I am currently using. When I lived in Norway I had fiber connection.

What do you guys think? This is annoying as hell. Please help me.. yet again.

I know framelag and router doesn't work much together but it was just a thought. Since I don't lag in any other game. We have 25 Mbit (wroth noting).

And I'm gonna try installing old GFX drivers just to try it.

Installing older vid. drivers did not work. This sort of framelag comes sometimes in middle of the game and stays there until game is closed. I have this issue in both prism and chrome. However my fps is always on 125. So weird.

When I play Quake Live or any other games I can't really feel the 120 hz. Especially not when I'm moving my mouse fast. The image becomes blurry or sort of "after effects". I'm using the BenQ monitor.

The settings in the OSD panel is:
AMA: off
Instant mode: on

My gfx card is GeForce GTX 260 with latest drivers and yes, I'm using a DVI cable.

r_displayrefresh is set to 120 ofc.

I hope you can help me. This is driving me insane. Especially when the support can't even help you.

Yes. I know there are threads already about monitors but they don't contain the information that I really need? I'm thinking of buying a new monitor but don't know which one.

Which one of these are best in test? I haven't found any page on the www that has a test with all these 3 monitors.

I'm looking for cfg commands that will change the graphic settings in QL. I am now running with Stermy's cfg but I don't like the graphic settings.

However I do like the graphic settings that ESL uses when they livestream.



Now to the mouse settings...

I'm now using the Zowie EC1 mouse produced by Heaton himself. A bit heavy but it works quite fine AND very expensive. I'm currently runnig it with 400 dpi, 3.1 sens ingame and 0.1 in mouseaccel. The question is. What sense is preferable with 0.3+ mouseaccel?

One thing to also mention is that I'm using a mousefix from Fatal1ty's website. Is it really necessary to use a mousefix?
